Our voices have power. We use our voices to share stories, express ourselves, and spark change. Our voices include not only the sounds we make, but the words we write, the art we create, the movements we perform, and the actions we take each day to impact our world.
Explore the services of the Young Adult Department at the South Windsor Public Library and let your voice be heard! Check here regularly to see what programs and activities are available for middle and high school-aged teens.

SWPL’s Teen Advisory Group gives teens a voice in their community, a leadership role in their library and support for issues that face young adults. TAG meets once a month to discuss programs for 6-12th grade patrons, activities to sponsor for young patrons, volunteering, and the summer reading program. To be in the SWPL Teen Advisory Group you must be or have been a SWPL volunteer. Let us know if you are interested at sprattson@libraryconnection.info or at 860-644-1541.
Booked for the Week is an opportunity for teenagers to discuss engaging books, share diverse perspectives, and connect through literature. During our meetings, we will explore various genres, participate in thoughtful discussions, and just talk about books (snacks included, of course).
