| Description: | Riverman: An American Odyssey, by New Yorker Magazine writer Ben McGrath, explores the life of Dick Conant, who paddled thousands of miles on America’s rivers in a canoe over a period of more than twenty years. Join us at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 for a review of the book by Steve Grant, longtime reporter for the Hartford Courant, whose articles included a 17-part series on his own adventure paddling a canoe the entire 410-mile length of the CT River. Bring your lunch; the Friends of the Library will provide desserts and beverages. Copies of the book will be available at the Adult Circulation Desk. | |
